Margaux Wellman

actor, advocate, + feisty disabled person

About Me
Hey! I'm Margaux and I'm a New York and Chicago based actor originally from Mid-Michigan. I received my MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and BFA in Acting/BA in Interpersonal Communication from Western Michigan University.
I am proud to be an advocate for people with disabilities! Having mild cerebral palsy, I walk with a limp on my left side. Using my CP in my art to celebrate differences and integrate disability into theatre, TV, film, and standup comedy is such a gift. Plus, I'll have a great story for Joffrey Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre when they INEVITABLY reach out. Duh!
When I'm not on stage or on set, you can find me baking cookies, making coffee, or exploring the incredible tension between my cerebral palsy-fueled body and a corded microphone during a tight five.
